The Arimokko designer trade programme, in plain terms

There is a particular stillness that comes from working with a maker who already understands how you think. Where the brief lands cleanly, the specification is held through to the last fitting, and the finished cabinetry arrives as drawn. That feeling does not happen by accident. It is the result of a relationship built on shared process, clear communication, and mutual respect for the work itself.

What the carpentry trade programme in Singapore offers designers

The Arimokko carpentry trade programme for Singapore-based interior designers and architects is built around one premise: if you are bringing us projects consistently, you deserve a different kind of working relationship. Not a different product — every trade-commissioned piece goes through the same Senai factory, the same timber selection, the same finishing standards as our direct residential work — but a different structure around that product, one that reduces friction for your studio and gives your clients a more coherent experience.

Priority scheduling

Trade partners receive priority position in our production calendar. This is most valuable during the periods when residential demand peaks — the months approaching Lunar New Year, the mid-year school holiday window, and the final quarter. At those times, residential queues compress and timelines become harder to hold. Priority scheduling means your projects are confirmed in the queue at the point of brief acceptance. Lead times are committed early and we hold to them. You can tell your clients what to expect and mean it.

Trade pricing

Registered trade partners receive a standing discount across all Arimokko project categories — custom cabinetry, wardrobes, kitchen joinery, built-in storage, and bespoke furniture commissions. The discount is not negotiated project by project. It is applied automatically from the moment you are registered. Specific pricing structures are shared during the onboarding conversation, tailored to the scale and frequency of your expected commissions.

A dedicated project manager

Every trade partner is assigned a single dedicated project manager who stays with you across all active projects. This person learns your specification style, understands the aesthetic language your studio works in, and knows your preferred rhythm of communication. You do not re-introduce context at the start of each brief. When you send a set of drawings, the person receiving them already understands what matters to you. Your project manager also monitors concurrent commissions and flags potential issues before they become problems on site.

Factory visits at Senai

We actively encourage trade partners to visit the Senai workshop. There is no substitute for seeing how timber is selected and prepared, how a finish decision gets made at the bench level, and what quality control looks like in practice before a piece leaves the factory. First visits are structured as guided introductions. After that, returning partners are welcome whenever they need to — to review a specific finish on a prototype, check a material sample against a client's reference board, or simply keep a close eye on a complex commission.

Co-branded project documentation

For substantial residential or commercial commissions, we provide co-branded project documentation. Specification sheets, sample boards, and presentation materials can carry both your studio name and Arimokko's, giving your clients clarity on the supply chain while reinforcing your role as curator. Where non-disclosure is appropriate, confidentiality agreements are put in place from the outset and respected throughout.

Who the programme suits

The carpentry trade programme in Singapore suits interior designers, architects, and project managers who specify bespoke joinery and cabinetry on a recurring basis — at minimum several commissions per year — and who place high value on consistency, detail fidelity, and a responsive single point of contact.

We work best with practices that design with care and want a carpentry partner who will hold the specification through every stage of production and delivery. Studios that value the craft of what is being made tend to find the collaboration rewarding. We are less well suited to practices that need catalogue items on short notice or who are primarily optimising for the lowest possible unit cost. Our process is considered, and our lead times reflect the quality of work being produced.

What we need from you

Good briefs. That is the honest answer. The more clearly we understand the design intent at the outset — the proportions, the material language, the finish direction, the hardware preferences — the better the outcome for your client. We are experienced in working with partial briefs and evolving specifications, but the quality of our output is directly connected to the quality of what comes in. Trade partners who invest in their briefs get the most from the programme.

How to join

There is no application fee and no minimum annual spend required to register. We ask for a brief introduction: your studio, the type of projects you work on, and what you are hoping to bring to us. This can be a short email or a fifteen-minute call. We will assess whether the fit is right from our side and come back to you quickly — typically within one business day. If both parties are ready to proceed, onboarding takes a single meeting and you are ready to brief your first project within the week.

Trade programme enquiries go directly to the Arimokko Singapore team. We do not route them through a general inbox. You will speak with someone who knows the programme and can answer specific questions about timelines, pricing structures, and process.

In plain terms

The carpentry trade programme in Singapore is not a loyalty scheme or a marketing device. It is a practical framework for working well with designers who share our standards. If the work you are doing demands bespoke cabinetry made to a high specification, and you want a maker who will stay close to the brief from first drawing to final installation, we should talk.
