All built from ENF-grade melamine (Enhanced No Formaldehyde) particleboard with Blum soft-close hinges and runners. Designed to fit standard HDB BTO floor plans with minimal customisation needed.
Yes. Arimokko is an HDB Licensed Renovation Contractor with HDB Registration No. HB-03-3577B — listed in the Housing & Development Board (HDB) Directory of Renovation Contractors (DRC). The 03 in our licence number means we have been HDB-registered since 2003 (over 22 years). HDB licence is mandatory for any contractor carrying out renovation works in HDB and BTO flats. Singapore homeowners can verify our licence at the HDB DRC portal at services2.hdb.gov.sg.
Engage Arimokko 5-6 weeks before your target move-in date. The sequence: collect keys → do site measurement immediately (Arimokko visits within 3-5 days), 3D design (1 week), production at our Senai CNC factory (2-3 weeks), Singapore installation (2-3 days). Carpentry installation comes AFTER your main contractor completes hacking, electrical rewiring, tiling, plumbing, painting, and air-con installation.
Standard built-in carpentry (kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, TV console, shoe cabinet) does NOT require an HDB renovation permit because it is non-structural. HDB permits ARE required for hacking walls, replacing the main door, plumbing/electrical changes, and gas pipe relocation — your main contractor handles those. Arimokko coordinates carpentry to install after your main contractor's permitted work is complete. As an HDB Licensed Contractor (HB-03-3577B), Arimokko can also apply for permits directly if engaged for turnkey scope.
Arimokko BTO Essentials adapts to all standard HDB BTO unit types: 3-room (around 65sqm), 4-room (90sqm), 5-room (110sqm), and executive (130sqm). Standard kitchen counter is 2.4m-3.0m, master bedroom 3.0m-3.6m wide, common bedrooms 2.4m-3.0m wide. We site-measure your specific unit (every BTO has slight variations) and CNC-build to your exact dimensions — no off-the-shelf compromises.

Standard HDB BTO renovation sequence: (1) hacking and structural work, (2) electrical rewiring and air-con installation, (3) plumbing and gas pipe work, (4) flooring and tiling, (5) ceiling and lighting, (6) painting, (7) Arimokko carpentry installation (kitchen + wardrobes + TV console), (8) appliance installation (hob, hood, oven — town gas requires EMA-licensed Gas Service Worker), (9) final cleanup and handover. Carpentry comes near the end.
BTO Essentials uses defined module sizes and a curated finish palette (melamine in standard whites, woodgrains, and greys) to keep prices affordable — perfect for first-time BTO homeowners. Bespoke Carpentry is fully custom: handle-less designs, real wood veneers (white oak, walnut, teak), feature walls, integrated lighting, and any RAL colour. BTO owners often mix — Essentials for common rooms, Bespoke for the master bedroom or kitchen feature.
Master bedroom wardrobes in HDB BTOs are typically 2.4m-3.0m wide by 2.4m high (floor to ceiling) by 60cm deep — enough for a couple's clothes plus shelf and drawer storage. Common bedroom wardrobes run 1.5m-2.4m wide by 2.4m high by 60cm deep. Arimokko offers both sliding-door (saves swing clearance — best for compact BTOs) and casement (swing-door) configurations, all with Blum soft-close hardware.
BTO Essentials kitchen includes base cabinets (under-counter, 60cm deep) and wall cabinets (30cm deep, height to ceiling), plus a tall pantry unit if space allows. Standard HDB BTO kitchen runs 2.4m-3.0m on a single-counter wall (I-shape) or 3.6m-4.2m total on L-shape configurations. Cocco hob + Valenti hood + countertop are sized into the design. Add a separate Cocco cooker package bundle (from S$626) for hob + hood matched savings.
Yes. Arimokko BTO Essentials includes a built-in TV console for the living room — typically 1.8m-2.4m wide by 50cm-60cm high by 40cm deep, with cable management for TV / soundbar / set-top box, and storage drawers below. Wall-mounted TV bracket and cable conduit can be coordinated with your main contractor before painting. Floating TV consoles and feature-wall TV walls are available as bespoke upgrades.
Arimokko BTO Essentials includes: 5-year warranty on carpentry construction (against manufacturing defects, panel warping, edge banding failure), lifetime warranty on all Blum hinges (manufacturer warranty), and 2-year warranty on drawer runners and soft-close mechanisms. If you want authentic Blum hardware (Austrian-made, lifetime hinge warranty), we offer a whole-package upgrade for +S$888. Full-Home and Bespoke tiers include Blum as standard.

Arimokko BTO Modular / Essentials are fully installed by our own team in Singapore — we measure, design in 3D, deliver, and install. Absolutely — mixing colours across modules is a signature of our modular system. Common combos: Warm White kitchen + Nordic Oak wardrobes + Carbon Black TV wall. Or all-neutral (three whites in a row). No upcharge for mixing within the 9-color palette. Your 3D designer will render every combination before you commit.
The 9 widths (300 / 350 / 400 / 450 / 500 / 600 / 700 / 800 / 900mm) cover 98% of Singapore BTO layouts. For the remaining edge cases (unusual awkward corners, non-standard column widths), we drop in a slim filler panel from our 22-SKU filler catalogue (available in matching colours) — from S$29 per filler. For truly non-standard widths (e.g., a 750mm width where no standard fits), we cut a custom piece from our Senai factory — from S$188 per custom module.
ENF (Enhanced No Formaldehyde) is the strictest formaldehyde emission grade under China's national standard GB 18580-2017 — stricter than E0 (0.05 mg/m³) and E1 (0.124 mg/m³). ENF-grade boards emit ≤0.025 mg/m³ formaldehyde, which is critical for Singapore homes with young children, pregnant women, or anyone sensitive to indoor air quality. All Arimokko BTO Modular and BTO Essentials boards meet ENF grade as standard — not an upsell.
