We're hiring a Digital Marketing & Content Executive

Hybrid, based in Johor Bahru. RM 4,500–6,000 + travel allowance.

This isn't a corporate marketing job. We don't have a six-person team, a brand book, or a media buying budget waiting for you. We have a 27-year-old premium brand with a story to tell, growing client demand from Singapore landed homes and Malaysian premium condos, and the tooling (CNC factory, photography, real projects) to make standout content.

What we need is one person who can do the work — content, social, SEO, paid acquisition, brand storytelling — using modern AI tools to move 3× faster than a traditional marketer would.

Arimokko (Mokko Sdn Bhd) is a premium cabinetry and bespoke carpentry brand serving Singapore and Malaysia since 1999. Our Senai factory runs Felder and Biesse CNC machines linked directly to 3D design files. Every cabinet we deliver is engineered for thirty-year wear, finished with genuine Blum hardware, and installed by our own team.

Our founder, Don Lim, serves on the Executive Committee of both the Specialists Trade Alliance of Singapore (STAS) and the Singapore Furniture Industries Council (SFIC). We're respected in the trade. We're now ready to be loved by consumers.

The Role: Modern, AI-Fluent Marketer

You're a one-person marketing engine. You build the funnel from cold reach to qualified consultation booking. You wield AI tools the same way a traditional marketer wields PowerPoint — fluently, daily, unglamorously.

What you'll own

  • Content production at scale — 4 long-form blog posts per month (SEO-driven), 12 short-form videos per month for Instagram and TikTok, 4 email campaigns per month
  • Social media management across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn — daily posting, community management, paid amplification
  • SEO strategy and execution — keyword research, on-page optimization, content briefs for blog and landing pages, technical site audits
  • Paid acquisition — Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads. Manage budget, optimize CPLs, report weekly
  • Email marketing — newsletter cadence, lifecycle automations, segmentation by Singapore vs Malaysia, by lead source
  • Brand storytelling — translating the founder's voice, the factory story, and the craft into shareable content
  • Direct collaboration with our founder Don Lim and the Singapore commercial team weekly

What we're looking for

  • 2–5 years marketing experience, ideally in a consumer brand (fashion, F&B, lifestyle, design, hospitality — any vertical)
  • Daily, fluent use of AI tools: Claude, ChatGPT, Midjourney, Runway, Notion AI, or equivalent. We don't care which — we care that you actually use them
  • Strong writing — English required, Mandarin a plus. Conversational, brand-voice-consistent, not corporate
  • Comfortable on camera and behind it — you'll appear in factory videos and shoot your own content for social
  • Numerate — comfortable reading Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, Search Console
  • Self-directed — you'll work independently 3–4 days per week. We want a do-er, not a meeting-attender
  • Excited by premium home design, interiors, and craft — bonus if you've done your own renovation

What you'll get

  • RM 4,500–6,000 monthly salary (based on experience)
  • Local travel allowance for site and factory visits
  • Hybrid: 3–4 days home-based, 1–2 days at factory (Senai) or sites (JB, occasional Singapore travel)
  • Direct access to our founder and commercial team — fast decisions, no committee marketing
  • Annual performance review with growth path toward Marketing Manager
  • Equipment provided (laptop, accessories, AI tool subscriptions)
  • EPF, SOCSO, leave as per Malaysian Employment Act
